So often we can feel confused, lost, unhappy and anxious about our lives. Many times we notice that our relationships, families, health and careers may not be what we imagined them to be. Often we feel overwhelmed and alone.
Life can be challenging even if there was not a major trauma that we experienced. We don't need something to have actually "happened" to feel uncertain, in the dark , scared and confused. We feel the pressures and expectations of life and we deeply know the stress of family, careers and relationships. How did we get here?
We often question ourselves about why we may feel these ways. We search for answers and look outside of ourselves in healthy or unhealthy ways to find solutions. Despite this searching, we still feel like we are stuck, like there is a sliver in our soul.
We all want to feel loved, connected and fulfilled in our lives and often we don't. You're not alone and there is a way through. Let me show you.
I work holistically with the mind, body and spirit using a trauma informed lens. I am formally trained in early attachment, Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (TF-CBT), Sensorimotor Psychotherapy treatment modalities and Relationship Coaching approaches. In my approach, I draw from many therapeutic interventions including emotionally focused therapy, relational psychotherapy, family systems, and spiritual psychology. Throughout my career I have worked with children, youth, parents and families, supporting them through challenges of stressful life changes, separation and divorce, parent-child conflict, parenting, relational issues, anxiety, depression, attention deficit disorder, loss and grief and childhood trauma including domestic violence, neglect, community violence, sexual and physical abuse.

Whether we are five, fifteen, or fifty, events in life have an impact on us, and inevitably we are shaped by our circumstances. Our life experiences affect us in various ways, and we respond to events in our own unique way. Our paths to healing are similarly unique. While insight and coping mechanisms are key first steps, I believe that true transformation involves the mind, body and spirit.
